Applications are now invited for grants to conserve pre-20th century easel paintings in oils from all museums, art galleries and country houses in the UK open to the public.

Individual grants are available from £500 to £10,000 and the total grant value is £40,000.

The closing date for entries is by the end of the day on Monday 12th January 2015.
